1. Who We Are
Samify is an AI-powered film pre-production platform built and operated by an independent developer based in Delhi, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use Samify.
2. Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We store your generated pre-productions (scene scripts, narration, music references) and export history in our database. We do not collect payment information at this time.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your email and name to identify your account and personalise your studio experience. Your generated pre-productions are stored so you can access them from your Projects tab across sessions. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party AI Services
Samify sends your prompt text to Groq (for script generation), Sarvam.ai (for voiceover narration), and Suno AI (for music composition) to produce your pre-production. These services process your prompt data according to their own privacy policies. We do not send your name, email, or personal account details to these services — only the prompt text you provide.
5. Data Storage
Your account data and generated content are stored securely on Supabase, a managed cloud database platform. Supabase infrastructure is hosted on AWS and adheres to industry-standard security practices. We use Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure each user can only access their own data.
6. Authentication
Samify uses Supabase Auth with Google OAuth for sign-in. We do not store your Google password. Authentication tokens are stored securely in browser cookies and are used only to identify your session.
7. Cookies
Samify uses authentication cookies to keep you signed in between sessions. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings, which will sign you out of Samify.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and generated content will be removed from our systems within 30 days. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at samify.help@gmail.com.
10. Children's Privacy
Samify is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Samify after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
